Due to a data processing issue, many new and existing P-EBT households did not receive the summer benefit issued on August 25. We have escalated this issue with our state vendor to expedite the release of benefits. For some households, this will require that a new P-EBT card be issued to the address provided by the eligible student’s school district. We expect that all cards will be received no later than September 30, 2022.

If you recently received a P-EBT card that is not working, a replacement card is already on the way. You do not need to take any action at this time to report your invalid card. Please do not contact the P-EBT Call Center or submit an Inquiry Form to order another card, as this may further delay the processing of your benefits.

If you have not received a new card or benefits by September 30, please contact the P-EBT Call Center at 1-866-513-1414.

Please be assured that we are actively working with our state partners to distribute benefits as quickly as possible. Our vendor will continue processing summer P-EBT benefits on a daily basis until all eligible households have received them.  We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience as we work to resolve this matter.

Please note that this processing issue impacts the P-EBT program only and does not affect the release of benefits for participating Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) households.
