2020-21 New Student & Kindergarten Registrations

  • Drive-Through Dates for Kindergarten Registration Announced:
    • Narrows Elem/Middle School:  July 15th - 12 Noon - 6:00 PM
    • Eastern Elem/Middle School:   July 21st - 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
    • Macy McClaugherty School:   July 23rd - 12 Noon - 6:00 PM

     

     Click here to visit the Online Student Registration Survey.  It is extremely important that you register your child so that adequate school planning can be made. 

Some additional information concerning kindergarten enrollment:

  • A child may begin kindergarten if he or she has reached the age of 5 on or before September 30, 2020.
  • Children who are 5 by September 30 may enroll or the parents must notify the school that they will wait a year. 
  • Children who are 6 years old by September 30 must enroll in kindergarten. (Code of VA   22.1-254)
  • Parents should bring to the registration their child’s official birth certificate (not hospital certificate), immunization record and school entrance health form (if completed).
  • Personnel from the schools will be present to assist, answer questions, and work with you to ensure your child a successful start in kindergarten.
